Friday, January 15, 2016. Sam is already rolling over - sporadically - which feels entirely too soon. My favorite part of the day is still pick up time. Everyone is always all smiles and it just melts my heart.
While most of May was celebrating Zoë and her accomplishments in dance class and preschool, June pulled us in multiple directions. His Kindergarten class had a fund raiser even at the local Frozen Yogurt Bar, and kids could enter a raffle to guess the number of pieces of candy in a jar. We have a lifetime supply of tootsie roll products now.

It has been fourteen months since I have written anything on this blog, because I have been consumed with trying to find a literary agent interested enough in my story to consider representing me. As I anticipated, it has been quite a daunting task. I have only sent out forty-one queries during this time.

Returning from a college visit in Connecticut, the fact that Grandpa was directionally challenged brought us to what appeared to be a parade route, with hundreds of people lining the White Plains street where his wrong turn had dumped us. We were stuck, so we pulled onto a side street and returned to the action. What could it be? Could you do it? Would you do it? I think I will suggest to Dad that we try it.

Thursday, March 3, 2011. We recently bought a restaurant size bag of spinach. Peter bought some stainless steel pans too; they are sooo good looking! Every meal looks amazing. The best sunny side up eggs are made on this pan. Not just any stainless steel pan. Too bad for you, how nice for us. I made plaid using this. And I think I want a smaller print plaid. And definitely some retro colors.
